Return Policy

We’ll gladly accept all items that are unworn, unwashed, and with tags still attached through our returns portal within 30 days of delivery for exchange or for refund. A flat rate shipping fee of $7 is deducted from the refund total. Fish Hippie merchandise purchased at independent retailers and stores must be returned to the location where it was purchased. Please contact the individual retailer or store for their return policy.

If we receive your return at our warehouse within 30 days of delivery, we’ll credit your original form of payment. Fish Hippie Co., reserves the right to decide if returns are accepted past the 30 day deadline. All accepted late returns will not be eligible for refund and the customer will receive the option of store credit or exchange only. If you paid with a Fish Hippie Gift card, a new gift card in the amount of the credit will be issued and emailed to you accordingly.

Please note: E-Gift Cards cannot be returned or exchanged.

Items returned to our warehouse that are worn, washed, or damaged will be shipped back to the customer and a refund will not be issued. Clothing that is damaged through use or is returned with stains, make-up or deodorant marks, or is covered in animal hair will not be accepted.

All items on the FH Outlet Page that are marked “non-returnable” and/or “non-exchangeable” on the product page are considered final sale items and are not eligible for return for refund, store credit, or exchange.

Please note: Any final sale items that are returned to our warehouse by the customer’s own means are subject to a restocking fee of 10% (of the return total) or minimum restocking fee of $10, whichever is greater.

Gift Returns

Fish Hippie is happy to accept gift returns that were purchased from fishhippie.com in exchange for the same item of different color and/or size, or a Fish Hippie Gift Card to use on another product on our website. Gift purchases made for products at final sale are excluded from gift returns for store credit or exchange. If you are the gift recipient, you can contact us or call us at 336-789-3474. To help us locate the gift order, we’ll need the first and last name of the person who purchased the gift and their email address (preferred).

Exchange Policy

Ordered the wrong size or color? Visit our online returns portal for free exchanges! (Exchanges are only allowed for the same product in a different size and/or color.)

The item(s) you are exchanging must be mailed back within 10 days of the exchange request or your exchange order will be cancelled. Once your return is received by our warehouse the exchange process will begin. If any items are no longer in stock due to inventory changes we will refund your original form of payment. The first exchange on any order is free. Additional exchange requests on the same order will only be honored if the customer purchases their own return label. 

Items that are damaged or defective must be reported to Customer Service at customercare@fishhippie.com within 10 days of the delivery date. When reaching out please include your order number, a description and a picture of the issue for us to better assist you.

If we sent the wrong item it must be reported to Customer Service at customercare@fishhippie.com or by phone at 336-789-3474 within 10 days of the delivery date.

When Will I Be Refunded?

Your return will usually be processed within 5 business days once received by our warehouse. Processing time can often be extended during the holidays. A Return Notification email will notify you once the return has been completed. Please allow 1-3 business days for refunds to be received to the original form of payment once the returns for refunds have been processed.

Can I Track My Return?

Yes. Through our returns portal, you can track your return as it comes back to us. Just type in the original order number and billing zip code and click the "Track Return" link.
