How do I track my order?

Once a label has been created for your order a shipping confirmation will be sent to your email with the tracking number. You can follow the “Track Package” tab at the bottom of that confirmation to view the status of your shipment or visit UPS.com and input your tracking number to view your status from there.

How long will it take to receive my package?

Orders received before 11 AM Eastern Time on a business day (Monday-Friday) will ship the same day. Orders received after this time or on non-business days will ship the next business day. We ship from Mount Airy, North Carolina. UPS picks up by 4:00 PM Eastern Time and shipping begins its transit the next day. You are able to calculate shipping times via UPS here. Please note: UPS does not make deliveries on the weekend.Please allow extra time for order fulfillment by our warehouse and shipping throughout the holidays.

Can I change my shipping address?

If a label has not yet been created for your package and picked up by the carrier we will gladly make any necessary changes to the shipping address. However, a separate charge will incur with any changes to a shipping address that needs to be made after the package has left our warehouse. Charges may differ depending on factors at the time of change such as transit status of the package and the time it takes for the carrier to reroute the package.

What is your return policy?

We’ll gladly accept unworn, unwashed, and undamaged merchandise, with tags still attached, that was purchased through our website at fishhippie.com for return or exchange through our Returns Portal.  A flat-rate return shipping fee of $7 is deducted from the refund total for refund returns only. This fee does not apply to exchanges or store credit.All returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery to request a credit back to your original form of payment. Any return issued outside of the 30 day window can only be issued for store credit. Exchanges can only be made for the same product in a different size and/or color. If any items requested in the exchange are out of stock we will refund your original form of payment.Please Note: Refunds cannot be processed on credit cards beyond the amount charged on the account. If a FH Gift Card is used in combination with a credit card, your credit card can only be reimbursed up to the amount that was charged. The rest will be returned to the Gift Card used at purchase.All items on the FH Outlet Page are final sale items and are not eligible for return or exchange.

When Will I Be Refunded?

Your return will usually be processed within 10 business days once received by our warehouse. Processing time can often be extended during busy seasons. A Return Notification email will notify you once the return has been completed. Please allow 1-3 business days for refunds to be received to the original form of payment once the returns for refunds have been processed.

BleachingWhile yes, bleaching can often assist in removing stains and brightening up clothing colors, it is also important to keep in mind that this is a harsh chemical and can greatly reduce the life of any garment. Bleach should only ever be used on natural fiber clothing (cotton, linen, etc.) and never on synthetic fiber garments.Fabric SoftenerFabric Softener should only be used on natural fiber clothing. As with bleach, this should be used sparingly if you wish to prolong the life of your garments. Fabric softener can clog the pores of technical fabrics and can reduce the lifespan of any waterproofing finishes.IroningWhen ironing any garment, it is important to pay attention to the guidance shown on the garment care tag. A good rule of thumb is to always use lower temps for synthetic fabrics (nylon, polyester, rayon, etc.) and medium to higher temps for natural fabrics (cotton, linen, wool, etc.). If you are unsure about the temperature you should use, it is always a good idea to start at a low heat and press a small portion of the fabric, then work your way up from there. When in doubt, contact FH customer service.Dry CleaningDry cleaning is a process that often uses harsh chemicals that can damage or reduce the life of a garment. This method should be utilized sparingly and should be limited to garments that are composed of mostly natural fibers. While synthetic fabric garments can be dry cleaned, be aware that there is always a chance that damage can occur.Water TemperatureWater temperature is an important piece in the care process of any garment. Always adhere to the suggested water temperature located on the care tag of a garment. A good general rule of thumb for natural fiber fabrics is that hot or warm water will shrink it, while synthetic fiber garments are more forgiving in hot or warm temps.DryingDrying temperature is as important of a step as any other in the garment care process. It is extremely important that you adhere to the suggested drying temperature on the garment care tag, to ensure your garment stays the right size and shape. This will also help to increase the life of your garment.
